James began his career in the financial services sector by being awarded the Financial Times ‘Best Newcomer to the UK Financial Services Industry’ award. Since those beginnings, he has consistently sought out the highest levels of training and industry knowledge in support of his clients, and is currently in possession of the most prestigious qualification for providing financial planning advice: Chartered status.
James ascribes his success in the industry to the fact that he is able to combine an intelligent approach with a genuine desire to do the best for his clients.
However, James also believes that with privilege and career fulfilment comes responsibility. Even in the early stages of his career, James was selected to direct the training programme for prospective financial advisors at one of the UK’s top insurance providers. James continues to be concerned with the education and mentoring of other entrants into the financial services sector. To that end, James currently works on a pro-bono basis with the Chartered Insurance Institute to share his values-driven approach to financial advice with prospective industry entrants. James also turns his love of sport and fitness to cycling, running, football and skiing.
Charity is a very important aspect of Crocker & Partners, and we are proud to support Bristol Children’s Hospital.
Values
James is of the firm belief that it is only by truly understanding a client’s personal and professional objectives that expert financial advice may be given. With this in mind, James aims to form genuine and lasting relationships with clients in order to provide advice which is both targeted and enduring.
